Once there was a chandelier similar to the one pictured below, but without any of the glass panels left on it.
My daughter was moving into her first apartment & wanted some pretty ambient light for her living room that only had bright lights.
We found the skeleton of a chandelier at Habitat Re-Store that would work perfectly but needed to be rewired from an IN ceiling light to a hanging light with a cord switch. Taking it apart & putting in new wiring was the only Hard Part of this project. The new wiring was a little thicker than the old & made it difficult to thread the new wiring back through the chandelier, but we did it!
It was December & we picked up pretty colorful glass ornaments in various shapes at Target to hang on the chandelier hangers.
She loves her colorful ambient light chandelier!

How is it lit? What kind of bulbs did you use and how are they hooked up to electricity? This is just stunning! Makes my heart go BOOM!
