DIY Easy Clean Cork Tray

Get the look of a cork tray without saving the corks! This beautiful cork tray is easy clean and looks gorgeous on a coffee table or wine bar.
Get the popular look of corks without drinking all that wine!
I'm using a vintage tray from a garage sale for this project... This was an easy fix beginning with taking the tray apart and removing the old faded tapestry.
Using a few simple tools, I removed the nails on the back, the wood backing, and the glass.... I cleaned up the glass then cut a piece of cork printed scrap book paper in the shape of the glass.
I cleaned up the old chipped wood finish with white paint, giving it a fresh new look.
Replace the scrapbook paper and the glass and you've got yourself a gorgeous vintage tray perfect for your wine bar!

@Homeroad Thanks so much for the info. I've been collecting Wine Corks for several years now but love your tray and the look of the Cork paper. Looks like I'll be making a trip to Michael's today....

Very nice. Thanks for the idea. I’ll surely make this my next craft project. I have decoupaged a plain wooden tray. Looks pretty.

    warm regards.
