Kitchen Painted With Van Gogh Chalk Paint

When we moved into our home I didn't like the colour of the kitchen. We completely updated it by using chalk paint on the cabinets and re-tiling the wall. It took a bit longer than we expected but it was well worth it! Very pleased with the results
The kitchen looked outdated
Changed the tiles, this part was a "bit" messy!
Removed the doors, painted and sanded
Couldn't remove the knobs so bought some pretty nails
Stenciled the kitchen hood. I wanted something written in Italian but couldn't find any stencil I liked (almost everything is in French!) so I cut it myself. It means "Life is beautiful". I bought the curly one from Stamperia
We really wanted a kitchen island but they were far too expensive, so we used 2 squared IKEA bookcases, bought customised worktop, added panels, skirting boards and corners, changed handles and painted to match the kitchen
Our kitchen looks like new now and we spent only a small amount of money we would have spent for a brand new kitchen. Love it!!!

Many thanks @Chris Hough. I didn't have much hope when I started but now see how it turned out! :-)
