I have a black cultured marble countertop in my bathroom that has water stains and damage from harsh cleaners. To remove the stains, I have tried the baking soda paste mix and vinegar and it did not work. Any other ideas for cleaning marble countertops?

Have you tried a Magic Eraser? Not really sure on this...I would go to pinterest and see what you can find.

You have to use a professional grade marble cleaner and polish. Google "marble stain remover" and you will find some really good products that are inexpensive and really work.

You might want to try Hydrogen Peroxide or just make a cream out of baking soda and water.

Try this: when you are finished in the kitchen for the night, drizzle olive oil on the spots and leave it overnight or as long as 24 hours. Then gently wipe with a paper towel. Might need repeating. It sounds like your marble has become pourous. If this works, invest in a good polish and use it once a month. I accidentally left Zep cleaner on my granite counter and it leaked. The olive oil worked for me. Good luck!
