Procrastinator's Simple Tips for Summer Porch Decor

It's never too late or too difficult to add a few summer touches to your front porch. Simply add a few potted plants and other easy items and sit back and enjoy while you sip on your lemonade.
Here, all I did was add 2 potted plants to a red wagon for instant character. The wagon has special meaning for me because it was my dad's when he was a little fella back in the 1940's. The old watering can adds a bit more patina to the area.
A couple of outdoor pillows on some wooden Adirnondack chairs and some metal stars add more summer style to the porch.
An old metal file box is a perfect place to stash a few succulents. And a wooden tic tac toe board is great for impromptu fun.
The old olive bucket adds even more character. I've had this thing all over our house, inside and outside. It's great for flowers in summer, flowering branches in the spring, greenery in the fall, and I've had it inside with throw blankets tucked away in it.
