Washi Tape Wall Art {cheap and Renter Friendly}

Here's an easy wall to fill that blank wall and it's renter friendly!! Ever since we moved into our rental (in Japan) I've been obsessed with washi. I mean it's everywhere. So while I was able to fill some walls with art, I had a blank wall behind my piano that was the perfect spot for a punch of color and pattern.
The blank wall!

    How many rolls if tape did you use? I rent a house and always looking for ways to make the rental a home instead of a house that I rent.
  • Where do you buy this tape? It's an amazing project to do!

    What I am really interested in at the moment is the stair railing in this picture. Can you tell me anything about it? TIA

      I used some molding from the lumber store--there was a variety of styles, finished it with coordinating stain (or paint). Then had to decide how far from the floor to mount it. As I was trying to protect the wall paneling from scrapes by chairs, I used a chair back to gauge the height. Attach with finishing nails, but try to hit the studs.
