Salvaged Ladder Back Scarf Rack

A vintage ladder back chair with a broken, rotted out leg was leaning up against a dumpster...but the rest of it was in fine shape. So I dragged it home, and repurposed it!

When you see a dumpster pile like this, it's hard to pass up taking home a piece!
I chose the ladderback chair, because the back of it was in fine condition! So I sawed off the rotted/broken bottom half, and cleaned up the top.
I wanted to make it hangable, so I attached thangers to what would become the back.

Then, we added some upcycled "hooks"...


Ta-da, isn't that perfect? It'll hang on the back of my closet door.


You could use it for ties, or belts, etc...but I needed it for scarves!
