I Revamped the Rain Barrel, and Then I did This
by
Lee Cunningham Green
(IC: homeowner)
Our home came with its own well and lots of old sprinkler pipes that no longer worked and were mostly an eyesore.
Here is a top view of the well system, lots of pipes a few valves and wiring everywhere.
Got rid of all the unused sprinkler system pipe and wire, making a much smaller well pipe situation.
I then cut the barrel and placed the top over the pipes to be covered.
I then placed the bottom on the top of the cut barrel and touched up the paint.
I recycled the concrete blocks and turned them into planters.
Added plants from my yard as well as a few store bought.
The finished product cost $35.00 and makes me much happier looking at this space.
