We have a lot of tab from our old house that are still in good shape. Rather than keeping in a box what is a god way to re-use them or is there? They aren't right for the new house.

If you have the closet space get a expansion rod and put it at the end of the closet and hang the curtains there till you decide what to do with them. Maybe use them to recover cushions or lawn furniture??

Anything you could do with fabric, you could use these for. The only limits is the amount of "fabric" you have. Depending the type of fabric, you could even make clothing.

I'm certainly NOT a sewing person. But would you be able to sew together different squares to make some sort of a patchwork throw, or coverlet for a bed. And then if there is enough left, use that for a lining to give the throw or coverlet 'substance'?

My mom had that same problem so in her new house she trimmed the tabs off then created a rod pocket with that iron on stitching stuff, you'd never know they were once tab curtains and she didn't need to spend a ton of money on new ones!

If you want to re-use them as curtains, you can cut off the tabs (or simply fold them over to the back, and insert large grommets for a more modern look. If they are too short, add a contrasting panel to the bottom. Make sure it's wide enough so it looks intentional.
