How to decorate a small porch

I have a very small porch at my apartment and would like to now how to make it and the bottom of the stars more inviting.

Photos are always helpful, but the simplest thing to make a porch more inviting is shade something pretty to look at and something to sit on. If you think comfort pretty and cozy you are well on your way.
