Tips for a Front Door Make Over

We have been busy at our house this summer. One of the biggest projects is a total transformation of the front of our house.
This included putting in a brand new door, cutting down over sized bushes and adding some wonderful pops of color.
Overgrown boxwoods made our front step look tiny. But it is actually really quite large with them cut way down.
I have wanted a new front door for years. This is it before the painting and hanging.
The new color and hardware makes such a difference to the entry. You won't believe the difference. Head on over to the blog to see the transformation!

I think it all looks fabulous probably because the brick and the blues are the same as my house! I do have a question. Please don't think me rude but is the light upside down or is it just me?
    • @Trixie63 Funny you should notice that. LOL The wires were too high to have it the right way up, so I looked at it and it didn't bother me having it that way so we left it that way. (didn't think anyone would notice, chuckle...)
