Looks like a weed to me. But dig it up and put it in a bucket see what it does.

Looks like it could be a wild aster. I have white ones that bloom in the spring and lavender ones that bloom in the fall. I let them grow as they are pretty and the bees love them. My neighbor has bees and he has seen them all heading to my place. Butterflies and all kinds of bees, wasps come to them for a dependable source of nector.

Thanks for all of these comments, I will look further into your suggestions, I do have ,little tiny pink and lavender daisy -aster like flowers called " Fleabane" mainly in the spring , they were taking over too too! Pretty last spring but had to pull them to plant other goodies. Still a smaller one here and there but much less blooming on them now Thanks, Cyndi

I had a similar one in my yard and this year I have hundreds of new ones coming out in the vicinity of several yards. Must be a weed,

I have wild weed flowers all over my garden. They act as host plants for beneficial insects, bees, and butterflies
    • DORLIS DORLIS on Aug 06, 2015
@Linda McVicar I agree! Also, these "weeds" are natives adapted to growing in your area. They take less water and care., but they can take over, that is the greatest care they need, thinning out.

Just remember, a "weed" is something growing where it is not wanted. In some areas, orchids can be weeds.

I have something like this growing along with my Delphium, it has very strong stems so it helps it stay upright and has a beautiful feather pink and white flower that would look good in a vase with other flowers, I don't know what it is though

Some others plants do look more like a Delphinim but this was like a tree. Thanks, for the google look I did at the leaves and I will watch for it, this tree never bloomed anyway!

I believe the above silver leaves were was Silver Artemisia and the top tree looked now like another plant I found blooming with purple cluster flowers in my other gardens, I don't know the name..
