Re-purposed ON Purpose Old Vanity Drawer Front Turned Wall Hanging Display

Remodeling a old bathroom... very OLD ;-). Was in the process of demo and Pulled the drawer front off. I am always looking for a way to re-use what I have and thought this would make a cute wall hanging for jewelry, pretty scarves or dried flowers. First I applied a coat of new stain to deepen the base color. Whitewashed with some old white flat wall paint, and then distressed with my best friend "electric sander". Gave it some character and then stained again. Finished it off with 2 coats of paste wax. I also had some old knobs from another project, but they were a bright copper color. So gave them a really good sanding with very course sandpaper, applied the white paint sanded that a bit, dab of stain and then a spray of polyurethane to seal. Drilled holes and installed them into the board. I am really pleased how this turned out! I love when something beautiful comes out of the "destined for dumpster" pile ;-)
