What are you going to do with the rest of the desk? I would think either color would work, Yellow would make it pop, where as Burgundy is more laid back.

Depends on what you are using it for, and what the predominate colors and/or theme are the area where it will be placed. I used one of these years ago for my daughter when she was a toddler. Painted the metal part pretty yellow then added some duck decals to chair back. She absolutely loved it, and sat in it every day and colored while I made dinner.

I vote yellow. My rear end hurts just looking at it. Spent many hours sitting and wiggling in that chair (or it's cousin).

Choice a color that is conducive to learning, is a desk not a table.

I have a desk just like that. I removed the laminate top and made one out of wood and stained the desk top, seat and back old maple. Then I painted the metal parts turquoise. We use it as an end table. I've attached before and after pictures.
