What color should I paint this table?

I can paint furniture all day long but when it comes to paint something for my room and design it I get stuck cause there is many design styles that I like. My walls in my room are watery by Sherwin Williams the bottom half of my room is bead board and painted white. My desk is painted silver with a glaze to make it look old and tarnished my dresser is a lighter grey with the top and drawers stained a medium brown color. my bed is painted white with a gray pleated bed spread and I have a old picture in a tarnished looking gold. I don't want everything gray and would like maybe just a tad of color (nothing neon or bright) I like the french country and farmhouse looks. What would y'all suggest? First picture is the table 2nd one is my desk and 3rd one is my dresser and the picture.
The table that needs painted.

I recently painted a buffet SW7375 Sherwin Williams Sun Dried Tomato. I is a very deep regal red in my opinion. I finished my project with an antiquing wax and stained the top dark walnut. I posted it yesterday I believe.

Try bringing out a vivid color that you have slightly added to your room.

This was an old sewing cabinet my MIL gave me.

If it was me I'd paint it red. Not lipstick red. just plain red not to bright but not to light. I'r do red and then white wash or red and a destress it. Good Luck I'm sure what ever you chews will be alright.

a pop of pretty turquoise would be wonderful!

I'd stick with gray/silver to give a somewhat uniform feel to all the pieces.

If it were me, I'd consider something like lilac or turquoise, a cool colour but one that is brighter than the room colours. If you wanted something a little more zingy, what about buttercup or soft yellow?

@Sophie Jonas-Hill I love your idea of the soft yellow with the room colors. Maybe with a bit of embellishment on the drawers.....

Yes, if you wanted to do a two tone effect then an undercoat of lilac would bring the yellow alive, or of that's not for you then a hint of green perhaps, a soft green which would look quite spring like? My mother always says that a flower never clashes with its leaves!

Well, I think a tiny hint of green with the yellow would be no more out of place than if you'd set a vase of flowers in the room, so I'd go for it!

I would choose whatever blue that's your favorite. I lean towards periwinkle, but turquoise or teal would look great, too.

OK, I am going out on a limb here but I think a light watermelon would be fun and still keep the soft bedroom feeling - I like the turquoise too but not to bright something soft.

Thanks everyone, i dont like the color red(maybe for some things but not my room), so i wont be using that. a brighter blue could work. i was thinking about a boxwood green color with a stained top.

Call me old fashioned but I'd stain it with a dark cherry using the all in one paintable polymer stain

If you don't want to match your desk (which is pretty snazzy already) then how about an undercoat of your wall color with a thin chalk white over coat? Kind of dreamy and muted.

    Teal, a rich teal.

Black is a french color. So isn't a mixture of furniture colors.

With the gold frame and warm wood maybe something in a light coral would tie in with the wood tone. Or go completely opposite on the color wheel.

With all of the tones of grey in your room...IMHO, a pop of color is needed. My suggestion would Annie Sloan's Chalk paint. The color is called Emperor's Silk a very vibrant red which you can tone down & age by adding a dark wax to it when you are finished painting. There is another darker color call Tricycle which I believe is a custom color. Both colors would be amazing with the other pieces you have in your room.
