What product do I use to paint kitchen wall tiles??

These tiles are in mint condition and I plan to keep them white (and paint the burgundy tile white as well), they just need a fresh coat of color. I've researched a few ways to paint the tile. Some suggest different primers with high-gloss paint to finish. However, I've now seen many people using Rustoleum to paint wall tile and it seems to be a much easier way to do it. This will be a low moisture room (compared to a bathroom)... What are you suggestions? Would Rustoleum be a good product to use on the wall tile?
Thanks!

Do you just want a different color? I think the white tile would look good if you painted the top part of the wall, and maybe the cabinet doors, a different color.

@Darla I plan on painting them white.. They just need a fresh coat, and the burgundy border i'd like to paint white as well. I plan on painting the cabinets (grey on the bottom, white on top) and I also plan on painting the walls on top.. But the tile is the original tile from the 50's and i'd like to just clean them up and give them a fresh coat..

Well there is nothing better than a Polyurathe Used on a car it lasts 30 years.. P O R Paints on line and another place sells this on line, a few shops have it.. U can put water .grease , etc on it every day and still wipe it off... I use it a lot..It would be wise to degloss the tiles by using a vibrator or ocillating sander (rent one) or just buy for $25.oo and use 120 silicon sandpaper and make a few passes to remove some gloss (actully give the surface some tiny scratches) spray ofr roll on the paint..u can polish out any spots in 20=30 days cause its hard as a rock..U can paint over Chrome too..

@Jon.murphy I do plan on using color somewhere in my decor.. i'm trying to stick with more neutral colors for the bigger items to save cost if I decide to change color schemes in the future. I'm also trying to make the tile blend as much as possible.. I really dislike it, so I don't want to make it stick out any more than it already does.
