Melissa Edwards Rebry on Jul 29, 2015I live in Mississippi...very hot summers....I planted 2 hanging pots of the yellow potato vines in the early spring...they were getting very depleted and looking tired, so a couple of weeks ago, I dug underneath them and removed the potatoes and added new potting soil and gave them a good dose of Miracle Gro, trimmed the runners back to about a foot long and they are happily perky again and putting on new runners like crazy, I know this doesnt answer your question, but I thought it would be helpful to keep them going for the entire summerHelpful Reply
