Worm infestation

Can anyone identify theses worms? Ive been finding them in my house for the last couple of days. This is my bathroom this afternoon but I've also seen them outside as well as on the floor AND on top of my stove in the kitchen. They move really fast.

  • They appear to be millipedes… They tend to come up after a short out of damp weather . Although normally I'm used to seeing them in the fall

Almost look like grub worms. Grubs are more white and have black ends I believe. Try ammonia or bleach, don't mix the two. vinegar and salt? If you have a chicken, they love to eat the worms.

I think they are millipedes as well, they are abundant here in florida, sub tropical and so we see lots of species of them. They like the damp and go after decaying wood leaves etc. you may have a leak in your plumbing and are harboring a snack for them or they may have accidently gotten in and just can't get out. They are gross and I hate them but check for cracks or gaps in your house /bathroom areas that you can caulk so they can't come in to visit you. If you live in a wooded area it is more likely that you will see them.

I think you may be right. I got really up close to a dust pan that I'd swept a bunch into and I think I saw teeny tiny legs. I'm gonna sweep up again this morning and look again. They are creeping me out and I find large amounts in the oddest places.

Try putting baking soda or borax around your base board if you don't have indoor pets, it will kill them and they can't crawl thru it, vaccume it up after a day or so.

We also have them every year about this time. The only good news about these is that they are seasonal. They invade for several weeks and then are gone--at least in our area.

I have been having trouble with them too and I NO longer have a tolerance for them. They crunch and gross me out and if they curl up they are faking!! I killed about a 100 of them. UGH!!!
