This planter is one my favorites! & to think I gave him away as a present! My $.25 yard sale find became a fun craft inspiration. Who has plastic dinosaurs to have me make more!?! All of the details are over here: http://www.nutmegcreativecafe.com/2014/06/11/dinosaur-planter/
I drilled holes in the bottom of him & the small pot for drainage
For details of measuring & cutting head over to my blog post http://www.nutmegcreativecafe.com/2014/06/11/dinosaur-planter/
Thanks to Michael Bruce florist in Collingswood I got a really neat Bromeliad plant! That's the tall one in the center. I had other little leafy plants to add to the mix too. I've seen succulents as the popular addition to this planter but this is what I had on hand this week.
Cool project, right? ! I love that not only has this project been one of my favorites but this has been my most popular blog post! For more details & specific list of items I used head over to http://www.nutmegcreativecafe.com/2014/06/11/dinosaur-planter/ for all of the details :) Thanks for stopping by!! Rawwrr!! :D

I had to show you what your ad on Facebook looks like and what the caption underneath says. I suspect you may not be aware... your project is cute, but your ad needs to be edited. (Explanation below) Best Wishes.

It's been this way since the original post from years ago. They will never fix it no matter how many times they have posted it. I often wonder how much $ that mistake has made them since that probably is the #1 thing that has been focused on & discussed. May we all have a mistake as successful as HomeTalk's on my planter post 💗💗💗😄😄😄

Frequently asked questions
Have a question about this project?
I think some of the drainage water will fill the legs and tail and in time will have a smell or invite insects. Just thinking it may need holes drilled in these areas.
Why not take some more of the back of a nd fill with some pebbles ,rocks ad soil and place plants in side to fill cavity and hang over sides of the item
