What's easy to prolong life of cut flowers?

Is there something to add to the water to keep them fresh longer.

    cut diagonaly ang put asburn in water. don't fill althe way with water

      @Victoria And a few drops of bleach. It will kill the bacteria which usually what kills the flowers. New mixture every 2 or 3 days.

    I am a florist of 36 years and I have tried all the tricks including the professional solutions And there is nothing better than clean water. It is the bacteria that shortens their life🌷

    No matter what you do, some types of flowers just last longer than others but I completely agree with pinkshutterflower. I've tried the packaged preservatives that come with flowers, aspirin, sugar, a drop or two of bleach etc. and nothing seems to work as well as dumping the water every day and refilling the vase with fresh water.

    I agree with pinkshutterflower, Just change the water daily and snip off a tiny bit of stem every day, Works wonders!

    Refrigerate them at night and change the water once every 4 days.
