Pin Cushion Chair From Tuna Cans
Can you believe this little pin cushion chair is two tuna cans?
This craft is very easy and inexpensive.

Just like upholstering a regular life size chair, this is easy using glue and tape.
Opening two tuna cans, I left one with the lid still attached by 1.5" to use the lid as the backrest of the chair.
Then stacked the two cans and used duct tape to keep them together. The tape is also a hinge for the two cans to bear an opening between them.
Taped on poly-fill for the backrest.
Instead of nails and staples on a regular chair, this is all taped on. The fabric is hot glued on.
I used pvc clothesline to sew my piping.
And glued the piping on the seat and the backrest.
Then glued on fabric around both cans.
Then added a skirt and trim around the bottom of the top can.
Open them to reveal the hidden storage for pins.
I added glued on large beads for feet.
And it was done.
It looks like a doll chair! :)
