Homemade Teacher Gifts: Easy Wood Sign

Who's ready for ? I love simple and personalized teacher gifts that aren't too expensive (and are more than just a mason jar, although I have a weakness for those too). This easy wood sign tutorial will give your teachers something to love and display for years to come!
Free printable of this design on the blog! Pretty red and candy apple green alphabet is perfect for the primary and preschool teachers.
Originally, before I painted them onto plywood, these were two of my favorite teacher printables that I printed on my home computer.
After printing, I placed the paper on top of carbon paper on top of the plywood, and traced the design with a pencil. Then painted the copied design on the plywood. Once dry and cured, I lightly sanded.
And finally, I had a handmade, vintage sign personalized for each teacher!

Aw these are so sweet! I'd love to make one for my brothers wife who is a 2nd grade teacher.
