If what you keep inside the duvet cover has a slippery/shiny surface you will definitely have trouble keep it at the 'top' of the cover. I ended up sewing some ribbons to the sides and center top of my comforter matching ribbons on the inside of the duvet cover. When matching ribbons are tied together there is no more slippage. You can also use velcro instead of ribbons.

There is something called ''snap tapes'' I saw on a post about sewing.Try Pinterest to see it and if this would work. It's snaps on a length of material. You machine sew the tape right on to the project. I'm pretty sure it was on Pinterest.Trina, your Duvet cover is lovely!
