If you don't find any Hometalk takers, Katrina, you could try posting in the Michigan forum on ...»
    plantswap.net:

    http://www.plantswap.net/forum/f53/

And there appear to be two Michigan plant swamp groups on Yahoo:

    http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MichiganPlantE...

    and

    http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MMPlantExchang...

You can also keep an eye out for local plant swamps/exchanges at local community groups and churches.

    Good luck!

I always lay a good layer of newspaper down, wet it, and then put my grass clippings over it ...»
all summer long. I even get our neighbors clippings. The weeds that do come up are easy to pull. The bonus is we don't have to till each spring, just turn it over, it's extremely easy to dig. And... we have earthworms galore!
