Termites are Swarming!

My neighbor brought over some winged insects emerging from the ground in his mulch bed. Termites! The winged adults are swarming now, as are adult fire ants. ...»

How can you tell the difference? Termite bodies are pretty thick from head to tail (like a cigar). Ant bodies have three definite sections, connected by a narrow neck and waist.

Make sure your termite treatment is effective!

I happened to see a "Better Homes and Gardens" article on planting with strawberry containers. I went online for more ideas for herb plants for my strawberry container.
