Vintage Turquoise Chalkpainted Desk
I got this great vintage desk at a yard sale this summer for $15. It was really beat up and needed a lot of work. I sanded down the top and starting staining it a dark walnut. I then painted the bottom with a DIY chalkpaint in a bright turquoise. I then distressed the bottom and glazed it with a stain glaze. Last, I coated the bottom in AS clear wax and coated the top with poly. (In the before picture it is the desk that is upside down on top of the other desk)
