DIY Craft Room Desk

Having a craft room feels like SUCH a luxury! But I put a lot of work into making it happen on a fairly small budget! I had to be okay with sharing the laundry room with my craft space, but this desk makes it worth it! It was cheap and easy to make!

I bought 2 sets of Sawhorse Brackets from Home Depot and 4 2x4's that I had cut to size while there. Once home, assembly took about 10 minutes! That includes slipping the legs and cross piece into the brackets and screwing a few screws in.

For the desk top I used a $10 closet door from my local Habitat for Humanity, spray painted white! Then I gave the legs a dipped look using black chalky finish paint.

So for $35 I have a custom desk for crafting and working on my laptop. Come see the finished desk and space over at Houseologie!!
