Placemat Pillows For Under $2

I was looking for a little pick-me-up for our living room, and new throw pillows are an easy (and low commitment) way to add some new color. But, I just couldn't find any in colors I liked that didn't cost $20+. So what's a savvy home decorator to do? Shop the clearance aisles, that's what!
Only I didn't go looking for pillows in the clearance section. I headed straight for the kitchen aisles instead, and found exactly what I was looking for. These placemats were marked down to less than $2 each, so I grabbed two of them, and headed home to turn them into perfect throw pillows.
