Is it possible to overwinter potted lavender in the garage? I imagine you can and would like to try it.
Also, I harvested some lavender seeds. Is lavender difficult to grow from seed? Anyone have experience?

Yes you can but I suggest a cool place in the house if you get frosty in the garage.

Does the garage get plenty of light? Lavender needs as much light as possible even in the winter months. If you want to grow Lavender from seed it is extremely easy. Sow the seeds in a well draining sterile mix, keep soil moist (not wet) until they germinate and water the seedlings when dry. They must have plenty of light/sun to grow-I grow mine under lights. Hope this helps!

My suggestion is to over winter your lavender inside in a well lit area,The garage will be to cold and definately not enough light.
