I have removed glue (don't remember the type with acetone and a nylon brush.

Also the same razor you use to clean ceramic stoves...(found in appliances in Lowes and home depot) may work too.

Try using a glass scraper. It has a razor blade in it.I think Terry and i are suggesting the same item. It'll do the trick. I've removed epoxy from a counter top with one.

I definetly would not use a razor blade this will cut the formica. Go to Home depot should you have one and speak to a professional who can hopefully answer your question. You do not want to make the situation worse.

I scrape off the excess with a paint scraper, then use finger nail polish remover containing acetone.

I am in love with a product called Awesome from the Dollar Tree! Yes, you heard me right. We've been cleaning some wonderful old and damaged wood work in a house my daughter recently purchased. And it WORKED! It took off dark nicotine stains, very old paint splatters and more. The wood work has been saved and looks beautiful! Try Awesome for many other cleaning challenges. cost: $1

@Pat E Awesome sounds great! However, is it toxic or harmful to animals? Thanks!

Karen, I honestly am not sure but I can tell you we used it straight and we were in a house with the air on so the windows and doors were closed. I think my daughter usually uses it a bit diluted. Directions are on the bottle. Hope this helps.
