Pallet Covered Planters

Garage Sale Score + Free Pallet + Homemade Chalk Paint + Homemade Stain = Awesome Window Planter
Found these for $1 each at a garage sale. Not loving the color....but that can be fixed!
Chalk paint around the rim and inside. Pallet pieces screwed onto the outside...a brad gun will give a cleaner look...Gorilla Glue won't work.
Stain entire piece with home made stain. Here is a before and after. Lovin' that rich color! And it hides the screws so well!
Arrange flowers with floral foam.

Flowers are from Hobby Lobby & Dollar Tree. Cute, adorable hedgehog optional. ;) Found him at Hobby Lobby.
Admire work. :)
Display outside where you like. This one will eventually go up onto the windowsill, when summer is officially over and we no longer need the air conditioning unit.
Detracts a bit from the eyesore-but-necessary air conditioning unit.
