I have no clue how to remove these nails. I'm trying to replace the hinges. The other door had screws so it wasn't a problem but then I saw this. I've tried prying them away but they are attached really well. Please help!!

Use a vibrating cut off tool to cut off the nail heads and then use another nail to hammer out the original nail and then pull out the normal nail that is not all the way in.

Try cutting a slot in them , or just one . May be screws with the head sanded of for adjustment of door ?

The things were so old they warped the second I tried to put pressure on them. I used a heat gun to loosen the hinges themselves and was able to get a hammer under the hinge to pry then out. Thanks for the advice!!

PUT A SCREW DRIVER TOUCHING THE NAIL/SCREW [POINTED END] HOLD CIGGY LIGHTER AGAINST SCREWDRIVER HEAT WILL TRANSMIT TO SCREW SCREW WILL EXPAND [SLIGHTLY BUT ENOUGH] LEAVE TO COOL DOWN IT WILL SHRINK THE HOLE IT IS IN WILL STAY AT LARGER SIZE SHOULD NOW BE EASIER TO WITHDRAW NAIL/SCREW WAYNE
