Actually Clorox mixed 50/50 with water works just as well. I just sprayed it on my storage building, let set for a few minutes and hosed off. Came right off.

You might need to reseal the blocks\walls with a quality block sealer. This should cut down the moisture considerably.. You might consider installing an exhaust fan that is activated by humidity levels also. But my first suggestion is the way I would go first..

They sell cans at the hardware stores that will absorb excess moisture.Sometimes they sell them in pouches that you can hang.Replace them monthly as needed.they will help too. any type of ventilation,an open window or door,a fan will help also.

We painted our concrete block walls with DryLoc. it's like a paint that seals out moisture. Never had a problem. We do run a dehumidifier also when necessary.

I have used regular laundry additive, Oxi Clean mixed with warm water and used a stiff bristled brush. The mold/mildew just vanished. You will have to use a sponge and or wash cloth to rinse off the area after you have finished but well worth the effort.
