What can be done with used greeting cards?
-
Carolyn Bostic on Feb 13, 2013I've heard of some children's hospitals accepting greeting cards for their art projects but can't remember which ones specifically. If I remember or find the answer from a friend, I'll come back here. What I do with greeting cards I love is save the fronts together then display one or more on tiny easel stands and switch out as seasons change or taste dictates.Helpful Reply

360 Sod (Donna Dixson) on Feb 13, 2013sounds like some of them could be vintage cards and would be really cool for decoupage. You might could list them someway to let bloggers know you have them available. Those crafty bloggers can surely come up with some awesomely cool ideas. You might even be able to sell the vintage ones on etsy.Helpful Reply

Jeanne Morris on Apr 28, 2016When I was a Girl Scout leader, we used to send them to St. Jude's Children's Hospital -- the Activities person used to help the kids make various items with them. Whether they are still doing that, I don't know but you could inquire before sending them on. I can't find it right now, but I'm sure you can just Google for their address -- good luck!Helpful Reply
