I found an old white enamel stove buried in the dirt with it's legs up and out of the ground. It's quite old, but in pretty good shape. It is scratched and needs a fresh coat of paint. How can I refinish this old stove?

High heat paint is what you will need. I painted my cream colored stove black and it turned out beautifully. It is imperative that you use "high heat" paint on a stove.

if not rusted just leave it alone. Clean with it spray on Easy Off oven cleaner. That is what I use on all my pots and pan that are enamel, stain steel, and glass pots( like corning pyrex etc). But if rusty clean and put something that kills rust on first the paint with engine paint.

Try it on something else, first, to see if you like the finish.

Agree with Mary G. A high heat paint will do the trick.
