{10-Min Project} DIY Galvanized Wall Half-Bucket

$2.00
10 Minutes
Easy
I love a quick 10-min project. The budget-friendly person (aka cheap!) loves it when I can make something for less than I can buy it for. I also a love a good challenge. I am joining a group of other fabulous bloggers to use an item from Lowe's and turn it into something unexpected. I had been on the hunt for a cute little, bucket to hang above my new Farmhouse Sink to display flowers, hand towels, etc. They were either the wrong size, wrong look or wrong price! I tried hanging the entire bucket, but it hung all "wonky" and I didn't like the way it looked. So...here is my DIY Galvanized Wall Half-Bucket.
I started out with a small, plain $2 galvanized pail or bucket, from Lowes.
Nothing special. I went into the garage and grabbed my reciprocating saw and I cut that baby in half!

Good idea! And I visited your site and signed up. Looking forward to receiving your emails. There are feed buckets (pricy, tho, and much larger) available with flat sides to hang on a fence. Think I'll get mine from the barn and "plant" something Christmasy in it for the back door. Thanks for sharing. susen
