Okay, So I had this old broken gumball machine and I was going to just throw it away ... and then I had a great idea!
I didn't have the pictures of mine so I snatched it off the internet to show you what I did. I took off the top and that metal bar running thru the machine. Then I ran a string of solar lights thru the gumball opening. (wooohooo! No need to turn it on and off) From the top I added fake snow I got from a 99cent store and little Winter figures and trees and Voila! A winter or Christmas snow globe was born!
And here she is! I love the fact that I can change it out with whatever I want whenever I want. I could even change it seasonally and when I don't want it out, I just pack it away in a plastic bag and wait till it's time for her to come out again :) So If you have an old gumball machine, or see one at a garage sale, you may just want to snatch it up!!
