Painting trim and walls the same color

Have you ever painted your trim, walls, cabinets, doors all the same color and sheen? If so, what did you think of it? (I did it in our former home's kitchen. It was glorious!)
It used to be that we had to paint our trim in either high- or semi-gloss for durability. But today, most high quality paints are so much easier to wash/clean regardless of their sheen. IF you've painted in this fashion, I and other HT readers, would love to hear from you. (photo via arcadianhome.com)

I am in the process of painting everything Winchester white in a home I plan to move into ..my brother calls it the hospital but I like it because it makes everything look clean and bright I will probably add some splashes of color but I like the idea so far

@Karen Benke I like your idea too! There's nothing like white to make a room look clean. What paint company is Windchester white? Didn't see it in my Benjamin Moore or Sherwin Williams fan decks. Is it Ralph Lauren? I'm sure it's gorgeous!

Oh gosh I'm sorry it's West Highland White #7566 by Sherwin Williams, but Home Depot mixed it for me..too many W's ha ha I'm moving on a street called Westchester 😉

@Karen Benke Yes, I recognize that SW color. Very pretty! You should post pics after it's done. I'd love to see it! I do e-design (online decorating) if you need help when you get in :-D

I did it too. I painted everything in a soft white. I like a very neutral background since I love framed art and I also have many shelves for small collectibles all over my walls.

@Heliane Ripley I'm sure it's lovely! So wonderful for a backdrop to all kinds of arts and etc. :-)
