What sort of closet do you need in your bedroom?
We've been asked this question a lot when people are remodeling their master bedrooms: what sort of closet do I need?
A stand-alone closet is smaller, less expensive and easier to buy & install.
A fitted closet gives you more space and can look more aesthetically pleasing. Fitted closets are also great for filling space in odd-shaped rooms.
And a walk-in closet? Well, that's the dream right there! Lots of space to lay out and display clothing and accessories.
As with any home improvement it comes down to two things: need and cost. Do you have a lot of stuff that requires a larger closet? And can you afford to build a bedroom addition that includes a walk-in?
