Looks like blueberries but are not, what are they?

These grow along the bush in our backyard and they look like blueberries but they are not and I was wondering what they are and if they could be useful?

I don't think blueberries, I believe they have different leaves.Are they prickly?The leaves look like a grape variety.

They look like Dogwood Berries. Some say they are poisonous, other say not unless you eat too many. Growing up, we were warned not to ear them. They grew in the wooded area where I grew up. I saw some in Bucharest, it looks like blueberry, size wise and shape, but not the color, they are dark and shinny more like the grapes. And the leaves are definitely like grapes. I tried it out of curiosity, the taste was brilliant! Sweet and juicy like the sweetest blueberry u can get but it's got seeds like the grapes. Like a crossover breed of Berry and grape.
