Vintage Wood Spool Pumpkins

I love decorating for the changing seasons, and my favorite ideas are quick, easy, and "undoable" so that I can switch them up for the next season. These vintage wood spools were a $1 find at a local flea market, and have delivered a lot of decorating bang for my buck.
To temporarily transform them in to pumpkins for fall, I pulled out some washi tape in "pumpkin colors" (kind of) and wrapped the spools.
The stems are pieces of leftover wood trim, lightly stained.
And the leaves are fresh from our Birch tree in the back yard. These beauties provide some fun fall color, and will be easy to undo before the Christmas season rolls around. What will they be next? Be sure to check out my blog, Reinvented, for more easy fall decorating ideas!
