Cleaning A Porcelain Sink

15 Minutes
Easy
Porcelain sinks are prone to staining and scratching, and this creates a pretty dingy looking sink. There are cleaners out there you can buy to make the sink look better, but I found a combination of 2 ingredients, that you probably have in your home right now, and they work like magic!
The picture above is my kitchen sink. It's gross looking, huh? Really stained and scratched.
All you need are two ingredients to whiten and brighten that sink... and it only takes a few minutes.
Look at the results. I have had SO many people tell me they were about to buy a new sink. Then they tried this trick and it completely restored their sink, saving them hundreds of dollars.

Could this be used to draw a stain out of marble? I have used a baking soda paste and I have used a peroxide paste, they helped but didn't completely remove it. I have never tried mixing the 2 together, have you had any luck with this combination?

If you have a problem with fly specks use Krud Kutter. It melts the fly poop instantly . Buy it at Menards, Home Depot or Lowe's

For my white porcelain sink I use Cascade dish washer gel. I put it in the sink, spread it around, then wait not even 5 minutes, then wipe/rinse it out. It looks brand new every time. Normally no scrubbing (occasionally around the drain).
