DIY Weathered Wood Picnic Table

I gave a rustic weathered wood finish to a $100 Lowes picnic table. Making it go from plain and ordinary to refined and beautiful.
I'm really happy with the way my picnic table turned out. We have been enjoying outdoor dining all summer long.
My mother in law gave me this table for my last birthday. She bought it at Lowes for only $100. Lowes even put it together for her.
The picnic table was a raw wood before so it was intended to be either painted or stained. I choose to stain mine by layering the table with two different colors; Rust-o-leum driftwood and Minwax special walnut.
I have hung solar powered lanterns from the tree. These are so neat lit up at night.

I had outside picnic table that had benches with backs, used for indoor kitchen table, painted it two tone green with magnolia decals, oh i sealed the cracks between planks...held a dozen people easy with plenty of room for dinner on the table too...man i miss that table...
