You are not alone, for better or worse. A few Hometalkers have asked about this. Here are a couple of discussions with lots of good suggestions:

i think mousetraps are the way to go, Terrie. If you have dogs or cats that you are worried would get in the traps, you can put them under a flowerpot that you've propped up with a little stone.

Terrie, Moles have been discussed on HT several times and people have given some very creative ways to get rid of them, not sure if they work but I would bring pest control in and save myself the trauma - Here is the discussion - http://www.hometalk.com/?filter=moles&se...

It's really pretty simple. Moles live on grubs. Get rid of the grubs and the moles will go else where to feed! Use a product like GrubEx. We had a severe grub problem until we started doing this. Now they infest our neighbors -- but not us!

The Money Pit is right on. Get rid of the grubs and the moles that are feeding on them will move on to better grazing!

Thanks everyone. I think I'll give the GrubEx a try.
