My Week in the great outdoors

The Blue Daze has been sparkling this week. A customer complimented my manicure. Grubs and Snakes and some not so clever cleverness. Some quick quiet moments and underneath the frog.

I hate snakes! I recently moved, and the shed I will be using for my wood shop/gardening shed, ...»
has a lot of cleaning to be done before I can set it up. I so far, have come across two snake skins. I screamed at them, but they didn't move! If there had been a body in them, I would have run the other way. Will definately be distributing moth balls all around the shed and a few inside as well.

flagstone patio with stonedust

We got this flagstone from a property being cleared (with permission). There was enough to do a patio off the deck and a pond with a patio. Here is the finish. That is polymeric sand in ...»
the joints. Now it needs to be sealed, wet look or just a glaze? We are not sure. What is best? We did the flagstone pond w/ patio last summer. That is stone dust in between the joints at the pond.

Yard fountain

This is a fountain we made from a whiskey barrel, and old gold pan and a tea pot. This year I adorned it with a metal sculpture. I change it slightly every year. It sits outside my window and greets all my guests and I just love it.

What do you think of using patio furniture in a living room? Like a cushioned outdoor sofa set? sort of cottage style.
