Gardening: I currently have a wood retaining wall along my driveway that is in bad shape due to poor drainage behind the wall.

I want to replace it with an Allan block type wall. The current retaining wall is approximately 4' tall and approximately 55' long. I received one quote and it was almost $10K which ...»
seemed high to me. Can anyone recommend a company or person in the Cumming area that does quality work building Allan block type retaining walls?

Great advice. Thanks to all who have replied. Based on the dimensions of my wall, what type ...»
of wall (other than Allan block) would you recommend? I want something that looks nice, will last but something that is cost effective too. I'm open to ideas.

To rid your house of spiders, use Cedarwood Closet Enhancer instead of bug spray.

I've had good luck getting rid of mold and mildew on outdoor surfaces and outdoor furniture using a product called

Mildew Stain Away. I believe Vermont Country Store (www.vermontcountrystore.com) still sells it or you can get it from the manufacturer too at www.amazonpp.com. No bleach or chlorine ...»
so you don't have to worry about hurting nearby plants and shrubs.
