About Me:

My husband & I, are first & foremost "BEST FRIENDS". We share 3-children & 2 Grandchildren. I was a weight loss personal Trainer from the age of 22 up till I became an avid real estate investors for the last 18-yrs now with my wonderful husband whom is on his 27-th year of serving in the US Military. He just completed his Doctorates degree in Business administration with a 3.96 grade point average, along with a Masters in Economics. I am so proud of him! We love walking through a house & seeing the amazing potential, the house holds with some TLC. We also look forward to tending our church & seeing all our friends, we consider family. I LOVE MY LORD!!! As far as our activities, we love Hiking, Walking, Tennis, Swimming in our pool together, & especially road trips together & sharing great conversations, instead of flying. There is so much more to say however! I will spare you LOL. Have a very blessed day & thanks for visiting me.

Favorite area of home improvement:

I LOVE both the Interior & Exterior of my home equally, so I find this to be a hard decision I cannot possibly make.

  • Cabinets closed 2
  • cabinets open. Hard to tell on these photos but cabinet opens to reveal 3 storage areas. Each outside door is pegboard on top and shelves at the bottom. Center unit is walled up half way with places to hang on each side and above center divider is shelving. 4
  • close-up of one side and the center unit. all three are hinged with piano hinge on back and caster on the base for moving around. 2

I finally got tired of having all my tools scattered all over my garage and decided to build 4 cabinets to hold it all

(well, almost all). They are on casters so I can roll them around when needed, but you must roll them out to open them up.

  • BEFORE: Plain & ugly & boring. 1
  • AFTER: See what a little black paint & new knobs can do. 5

Look what a little paint can do for a boring bookcase.

Same Doors - Same Day

We installed framed-sealed glass in their existing doors by removing the top four panels, and replaced the plain transom above. Avoided replacing the whole door frame unit. All work completed on-site in a couple of hours.

Gardening: The Russian permafrost flowers are a good reminder for gardeners

I love this story about the flowers that grew out of seeds that were frozen for 30,000 years:

Good reminder that our plants want to live, if we give them a little love. Also that weeds are going to survive under a little snow if seeds can live for 30,000 years.
