just picture it. I wish my girls were still little & at home. If I can't find an idea for our house maybe I'll just have to do this and sell it. Just because it sounds like a fun project to complete. But I'm really looking for something we can use that's as wonderful of an idea as yours. Thanks for sharing the beautiful idea. :)

Gardening: I want to overseed a dying lawn

The front lawn I had enough $$ to lay good local new sod. I don't have the money to do the back...besides the front has inground sprinklers not so much the back.

Last year I tried all of the hints and helps and did everything they asked and NOTHING! This year I did my own thing...I want to take wagers on if you think it will take or not..

Gardening: What is this plant?

This plant (the two bright green spikey-looking ones) grows in the area of WV where my husband is from, but we have no idea what it is. He says it reseeds itself every year and the plant itself gets very tall, around 4 or 5 feet. I would appreciate any comments.

Gardening: Care of peonies.

Do you cut back the leafy portion of the plant after it has bloomed and when would be best to do so? I have many of different colors and just love the blooms and fragrance.

I washed the leaves last night which seemed to help it a bit, but the leaves are still turning yellow. The plant was bone dry, so I watered it a bit and put it in a sunny location, but not direct sun light. There are also little bulbs that are there, but the gal that gave ...»
