Gardening: I have two plum trees that definitely need help.

These trees were given to me as a birthday present 7 years ago. One has leaves but never blooms. The other blooms and has given fruit the last 3 years but the plums are really tiny and quite bitter. Any suggestions on how to improve them?

Gardening: Thistles take over one side of my garage..remove permanently?

These thistles get more invasive each year. I pull them out but the root breaks off down in the soil and comes back with a vengence. How can I permanently get rid of them?

Salting the ground may get rid of the thistle but it can also destroy your soil and make it ...»
unplantable for anything else. Far better to paint the thistles with an herbicide, or a vinegar-based product if you don't want to go that route. See more advice here:

Gardening: Can you identify?

This plant is growing wild and big behind my garage. Love the big green leaves, but I think it might be a weed?

Yep! Creeping Charlie. It spreads quickly as Aval says and is therefore hard to get rid of.

Gardening: Can anyone help with this plant I.D.?

I bought this 2 yrs. ago at a garden center in a small pot on clearance w/ no I.D. tag. None of my gardening neighbor's can identify it, it is now 10x 's larger than when I got it. It doesn't seem to flower but does have some kind of spike come up the center in mid-summer and it has varigated leaves of yellow, green, and white.

Gardening: What is this plant called?

I bought this plant a month ago and it was real small. I lost the tag and now I don't know the name of it and it;s growing fast. It came from a plant sale where they sell unusual outdoor plants.
