Crafts: Cork Pin Board Re-do

I am looking for some other ideas for a redo for a cork board project. Instead of covering it with fabric and using for photos.

Cleaning & Organization: Does anyone know how to clean a very dirty "fawn" color leather couch?

When I bought these two couches in 1999, they cost me like $6,000+. The back cushions are not tacked down by anything and they are always getting squished down and well the thing looks ...»
sloppy (wish I'd known that they would do that before I purchased them! Que Sera, Sera!) and now with 3 toddler boys and others the color doesn't even look like what it was. They've been pretty beaten up; however, the frame is strong and they were expensive, what to do or is there anything I can do? They have been cleaned by people using the worst things so they are really in bad shape as far as the leather goes. Is there a way to re-stain them? (Though every scratch in the leather will show up pronounced, wow, I'm talking myself out of this!)

Cleaning & Organization: Cigarette smoke stains

My parents had some beautiful black and white etchings that are now mine. However, they were heavy smokers and although the prints were framed, the smoke penatrated and gave them a yellow cast. Is there any way of removing this stain?

Wildlife & Animals: Plastic Kiddie Pool as a grassy area for guinea pigs, is it possible?

I know this might be an interesting, yet strange issue but...I have several guinea pigs but I live in an apartment, so I don't really have my own yard, but do have patio space. I was ...»
thinking of creating a small "yard" out of a plastic kiddie pool, lined with sod for the piggies to roam and snack in. However, my concerns are will the sod survive? Will mold grow because of the plastic bottom? Should I create small holes in the bottom of the pool to allow for ventilation? Can I cover it in some way to keep out the roaming cats from using it as a toilet? I have considered the option of creating one indoors as I have the space. They have a 3 level cage with another level at the bottom for storage that would make an excellent little playground for them. But again, not really sure if that is possible without creating a moldy mess. Any tips would be appreciated. Especially because I have a "black" thumb...lol
